Maine Aging and Disability Resource Centers Project Evaluation
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the Maine Aging and Disability
Resource Center Project’s progress toward reaching its goal of improving
the awareness of and access to long term supports for adults of all ages
and incomes and their families. The evaluation will examine the community-based
resource networks that are formed and how well they communicate and provide
information to adults seeking long term supports; how the practices and
policies of local resource agencies change to provide improved access
to services and information; and the role of the governing and project
advisory groups in promoting the goals of the project and communicating
its results. CMS and the U.S. Administration on Aging have provided funding
for this 3-year project under the 2003 Real Choices Systems Change grant
solicitation.
