Community Living Continuing Health Options and Incentives via Coordinated Employment Supports (CHOICES)

The purpose of this project is to enhance its current infrastructure related to work incentives for workers with disabilities. The project collects and analyzes data regarding the experiences of people with disabilities in Maine, and uses the knowledge gained to improve the current Workers with Disabilities Option within MaineCare (an option which allows workers with disabilities to earn more money while keeping their MaineCare benefits). CMS has provided funding for this 4-year project under the 2000 Medicaid Infrastructure grant solicitation.
