Quality Improvement
Quality Indicators for Community Living
The purpose of this project is to identify and implement quality indicators
that consider the goals, preferences and choices of consumers receiving
home and community based services. The indicators cover topics such as
consumer satisfaction and experience with services and supports, the health
and welfare of consumers, access to services, and global indicators of
system performance. A core set of measures will be identified that are
applicable to vulnerable older adults and adults with disabilities receiving
home and community based services. CMS has provided funding for this 3-year
project under the 2001 Real Choices Systems Change grant solicitation.
