Quality Improvement
Improving Quality for People with Disabilities in the Community
The purpose of this project is to design a coordinated quality management
system for home and community based services (HCBS) for adults with disabilities
and older adults. Working with an inter-departmental workgroup and stakeholders,
a quality management plan will be developed and strategies identified
to strengthen and improve the quality assurance and quality improvement
activities of the programs. CMS has provided funding for this 3-year project
under the 2003 Real Choices Systems Change grant solicitation.
